The Unsent Project: Background

The Unsent Project is a new app that lets you read the unsent text messages of your first love. The project was created by two friends, Jordan and Connor, as a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. “There’s something really special about getting to read someone’s thoughts before they were ever meant to be seen,” says Connor. “It’s like reliving their own private story.” The app is free to download and easy to use. Just open the app and input the phone number of your first love. Then press explore. You’ll be able to see all their text messages (from both send and receive modes) and you can even comment on them. If you’d like, you can also share your experience on social media using the hashtag #UnsentProject. THE UNSENT PROJECT | Morning people, Text messages, First love

Ruining first loves anonymity: What should you do?

When you were first in love, everything felt perfect. You and your partner communicated openly, and shared everything with each other. But as time went on, that all changed. Maybe your partner started to withdraw more and more into themselves, or they became secretive and wouldn’t tell you what was going on in their life. Regardless of the reason, it’s clear that something has gone wrong between you two. That doesn’t mean you have to give up on your relationship, but it does mean that you need to take some steps to help repair it. What is the unsent project.  The first thing you should do is sit down with your partner and have a frank discussion about how things are feeling between you two. Once you’re both aware of the issues at hand, it’ll be much easier to work on fixing them. Additionally, trying to maintain some level of anonymity when text messaging or talking via phone can be a very helpful way for both of you to feel safe and protected during this difficult process. By keeping things private, you’re less likely to trigger an emotional reaction from your partner that could complicate the repairing process even further.
